GB.ITech Labs is committed to making its content usable by as broad a range of visitors as possible, including people who use assistive technology.
Our approach
We aim to follow widely accepted accessibility practice in how the site is built, including:
- Semantic HTML and correct document structure
- Full keyboard navigation
- Visible focus states on interactive elements
- Labelled form fields and clear error messages
- Alternative text for meaningful images
- Sufficient colour contrast, and never colour alone to convey meaning
- ARIA attributes where native semantics are not enough
- Layouts that work at increased zoom and on small screens
We treat these as ongoing engineering requirements rather than a one-off project.
What we do not claim
We have not obtained an independent audit or formal certification against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, and we do not claim conformance to a specific WCAG level. Some third-party content, embedded vendor material and older pages may not yet meet the standard we aim for.
Reporting a barrier
If you encounter something on this site that you cannot use, please tell us through the contact page. Include the page address, what you were trying to do and the assistive technology or browser you were using. We will respond and work to provide the information you need in an accessible form.
Alternative access
If a specific page is inaccessible to you, we will supply its content in another format on request.
