This policy explains how GB.ITech Labs uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and software development kits. They are used to remember preferences, keep the site working, understand usage and, where enabled, measure advertising.

Categories we use

  • Necessary. Required for the site to function, including security, load balancing, form submission and remembering your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off.
  • Functional. Remember preferences such as comparison selections and interface state so the site behaves consistently between visits.
  • Analytics. Help us understand which pages and tools are useful, how visitors navigate and where content should be improved. Loaded only with your permission.
  • Advertising and marketing. Support campaign measurement and, where applicable, personalised advertising. Loaded only with your permission and only when an administrator has configured such an integration.

First-party and third-party technologies

First-party technologies are set by GB.ITech Labs, including our own outbound click attribution, which records which tool link was clicked and the page it was clicked from. Third-party technologies are set by providers such as analytics platforms, advertising platforms and affiliate networks. Affiliate networks may set attribution cookies after you click an outbound partner link.

Managing your preferences

When you first visit the site you can Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Manage preferences to choose categories individually. You can change your decision at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer.

Rejecting non-essential categories will prevent analytics and advertising technologies from loading. It will not stop necessary cookies, which are required for site operation.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as intended.

Non-essential scripts are not loaded on the basis of the banner being displayed. Analytics and advertising tags load only after you have permitted the relevant category, and are structured so that consent signals can be passed to supporting platforms where applicable.

Changes

We may update this policy as our use of these technologies changes. The last updated date on this page reflects the most recent revision.
